How it started, and how I make it.
It all starts with a drawing
On my iPad with Procreate I draw by hand the things that make me happy: dogs, cats and classic cars, but just as gladly other animals or a city skyline.
No two designs are the same. And recently I do not just draw: I sculpt dachshund figurines too.
From drawing to tableware
Drawing
I draw everything by hand on my iPad.
Printing
The drawing is printed with ceramic ink on special paper, ready to go onto the porcelain.
Firing
Then it goes into my kiln, at 850 degrees.
And then came the figurines
Besides drawing, I now sculpt dachshund figurines. I make each one by hand from clay, based on the photo of your dog. Coat type, colour and posture just as he really is, with a striped or spotted jumper and a beret if you like.
Once the clay has dried, I paint every detail by hand. Each figurine comes with an adoption certificate and its own ‘adopt me’ tag.

No mass production, no rush
Because I do everything myself, it takes a bit longer. In return you get something nobody else has.
I work in small batches. Sometimes just one.
