Let’s get back to the story of Lisa and her dog Bobby and the Deer Coloring Page printable.

Bobby has run away from Lisa and she went after him. First she met an owl and next she ran into a fox. At the pond she met a mermaid. At a fork in the road a squirrel showed her which way to go. When she comes to a clearing in in the forest, she met a Raccoon with a butterfly on his tail. He tells her to cross a little stream. After that she meets a Unicorn and before she knows it, she climbs on his back and they take off!

Lisa had to hold on tightly to the the unicorn’s mane, because he galloped so hard. The sound of the galloping hooves and the wind ringing in her ears, prevented her from hearing whether Bobby was still barking.

Finally the unicorn slowed down and Lisa was able to look around. she had never been in this part of the forest before. It was very quiet and she could hear the birds singing.

The Unicorn was walking now and Lisa saw that they were almost at the top of a hill. When they got there, she could look down.

The unicorn wanted to descend the hill, but a deer suddenly blocked their way.

The Deer Shook his antlers as if to stop them. The unicorn whinnied softly, then the deer tilted his head and listened. Lisa watched the animals talking to each other although she couldn’t understand them.

Then the deer turned and walked a little ahead of them. He looked around to see if the unicorn would follow. The unicorn started walking and a little bird that had been singing in a branch over their head flew up and landed on the deer antlers. In the distance they heard Bobby barking and then they all headed in that direction.
